Dr Rob Miller
I graduated with first class honours in theoretical physics from the Univ. of NSW Sydney Australia (1977). I completed my Ph.D. in High Energy Physics (HEP) with the University of Melbourne's HEP Group, Victoria, Australia (1979), then carried out research at the famous CERN, Geneva, Switzerland (1981) (the birth place of the world wide web!!). Next stop was at the renowned DAMTP Cambridge University England (home of Isaac newton, Stephen Hawking's and Peter Higgs), before my radical career change to Veterinary medicine. I received my BVM&S at the Royal (Dick) Veterinary School of Studies, Edinburgh, Scotland (1990). My first position as a veterinarian was with David Callaghan and Associates (Woking, UK) for 5.5 years before I decided to return to Australia in 1995.
I began research into developing Veterinary Scientific Software (1993, UK) and this work continued in Australia in 1995 with the development of many software titles. I have written much bespoke software for SVH which underwrites much of our unique efficiency.
I became a partner at Seaforth in 2002.
